Golden Lips A Triumph!

The fifth edition of Millbrook’s Golden Lips Competition brought a capella groups from four local schools to the Chelsea Morrison Theater for a no holds barred vocal showdown. In the battle for harmonic, melodic, and rhythmic supremacy, there can be only one true victor. This year Crimson 7 of Kingswood Oxford took home the coveted Golden Lips hardware. Judges from Northeastern University’s Pitch, Please! assessed groups from Kent, Cheshire, and Millbrook before taking the stage for a powerful performance to wrap up the evening.

 

Golden Lips survived Covid and has grown steadily in popularity and prestige. This year’s show drew a larger than ever audience of music lovers and students in support of their classmates.
