Millbrook Girls take 5th at Gordy Glover Invitational

Millbrook Girls Cross Country traveled to Suffield Academy on Saturday, Oct. 9th, for the annual Gordy Glover Invitational, in which the team finished 5th. Juliet Drury '24 again dominated a field of over 75 runners, with a time of 20:37.
Millbrook girls had a terrific race day on the Suffield course, always a team favorite.  In addition to Drury's victory, Sarah Eagen '24 had a PR of 23:32 and took 13th in the race, just behind a pack from Miss Porters, Westover, and Pomfret. Hannah Coon also broke the top 20, finishing 18th in a time of 25:03. Coon will be breaking into the 24:00 range any race now!  Aiden Corbin '24 was next in 37th place, followed by Eliza Withers-Clarke '23 in 55th, Hailey Mesard '25 in 57th, and Tracy He '22 in 58th place. Strong finishes by all, and ice cream at Grass Roots in Granby to celebrate!
