Meghan Grover

Bio
Meg joined Millbrook's admission team as an associate in 2014 and took over as director of admission in 2017. Meg loves traveling on behalf of Millbrook, developing relationships with students and parents worldwide, and educating them on the benefits of a boarding school education. It is a special privilege to share the Millbrook experience with prospective families.

Meg is a proud boarding school graduate herself. She credits her boarding school experience with helping her develop confidence and independence and inspiring her to become a lifelong learner and traveler. After boarding school, Meg attended Hamilton College, where she majored in psychology, captained the varsity hockey team, and graduated magna cum laude in 2010.

Before working at Millbrook School, Meg worked in the advertising industry and spent one year traveling with her husband throughout New Zealand. Outside of the admission office, Meg is proud to serve as an advisor, work in residential life, and substitute coach for any athletic team that will have her. Meg lives on campus with her husband, Eliott, and two sons, Jack and Harrison.

Bio
JP is director of strategic recruitment in Millbrook’s Admission Office. A native of leafy Maplewood, New Jersey, he’s a Trinity-Pawling alum with nearly 20 years of experience in boarding school admissions, including stints at Brooks, Westover, and his alma mater. JP is a graduate of Wheaton College in Massachusetts, earning a bachelor’s in music and singing in the college choir and the male a capella group, The GCs. JP coaches squash in the winter and lives with his partner, Megan, and their children Joseph and Meredith, in Pawling, NY.
Devandria Bernard

Bio
Devandria's love for independent schools started during her time as a student at The Hill School. Independent schools have always felt like home, and rejoining the school environment at the faculty level has been immensely rewarding for her. After graduating with a B.A. in psychology from Franklin & Marshall College, Devandria joined Millbrook in 2018 and is now Senior Associate Director of Admission & Faculty Engagement.

With a desire to deeply impact schools, Devandria earned her master’s degree in education with a focus on school leadership from the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated in 2023.

Outside of her offices, Devandria serves as a math instructor, an advisor, a coach on the girls' varsity basketball team, and the head of Prum Hall.

Bio
Patrice King joins Millbrook School with a background in education, technology, and community-building. Originally from St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, she earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology from Wesleyan University and a master’s in organizational psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University.

With her experience in educational innovation and program management, she is excited to contribute to Millbrook's mission of fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.

Garvin McAlister

Bio
Garvin transitioned to Millbrook after a decade-long career as a collegiate basketball coach. Having recruited at many independent schools in New England over the years, when the opportunity to join the Millbrook family opened, it was an obvious decision for him.

A native of Norwich, Connecticut, Garvin graduated from Post University in 2011 with a B.S. in sports management and then earned his M.S. in organizational leadership from Nichols College in 2017.

Garvin will coach basketball and track at Millbrook while also caring for students as a dorm parent in Prum Hall.
Mark Driscoll

Associate Director of Admission

Bio
Mark's love for independent schools started during his time as a faculty kid and student at Berkshire School. After graduating with a B.A. in English from Hobart College, Mark worked for Fontainebleau Development in the Capital Markets division.

With a desire to deeply impact schools and be a part of a tight-knit community, Mark rejoined the independent school landscape
at Millbrook in 2024 as an associate director of admission, and this move has been extremely rewarding.

Outside of his office, Mark loves running the Millbrook trails, coaching soccer and golf, and living in Case Dorm as a dorm parent for upper-form boys.
Ines Nieves

Bio
Ines has worked in higher education for 20 years. She has extensive experience in the mechanics of administrative work and has directed multiple programs with a particular focus on international students.

Ines' expertise in administrative and database management is crucial to every aspect of the department.
