So many things were eye-opening for me at Millbrook and choosing UVA for college is absolutely the right next step. As an international student, the community support and my friendships made all the difference in my experience. I also gained confidence in my ability to be independent and to make big decisions for myself. Academically, my interest in neuroscience started at Millbrook and was informed by science faculty who demanded that I conduct experiments with precision and accuracy. I had to commit to presenting my research in precise, college-level lab reports.
