Ann Najork '23
Cornell University
I have always loved animals, and the Trevor Zoo was a major part of my time here. Cornell has one of the most prestigious veterinary science programs in the country, and I doubt any other new students will be coming in having had the kind of real-life experiences that I had in high school. Working with exotic and endangered species is one part of animal science, and at Cornell I am so excited to start looking at the dairy and equine worlds. Cornell will be an adventure, and I can’t wait to get started.
EDUCATOR'S INSIGHT
Ann is always ready to go in the classroom, earning top honors and compliments from her teachers, focusing, and getting the work done. If things don’t go according to plan, she does her best to find a solution on her own. A well-rounded student, Ann’s heart is in the sciences, and as an animal science major at Cornell, she will be working towards her goal of being a veterinarian.
