I grew up a huge fan of Duke athletics and was always interested in Duke. When the college process started, I visited many schools and it became very clear that Duke was my top choice. I fell in love with the campus and the school spirit. I was also attracted to the incredibly strong academics, the many immersive service opportunities, and the welcoming atmosphere on campus. I'm really excited to be challenged academically and to take advantage of all that Duke has to offer. I'm also looking forward to living in a different part of the country and meeting people from all over the world.

Millbrook has provided me with a very strong academic foundation, and I developed strong study habits over four years. I have also learned how helpful and important it is to reach out and form relationships with my teachers. Being at boarding school has given me a level of independence that will serve me well in college.
