Medical Student, Nassau University Medical Center
Noah grew up in Montreal, Canada, with the dream of being able to play ice hockey at the collegiate level. From 2014-2016, he had the opportunity to play for Millbrook and had the privilege of being one of the captains during his senior year. After Noah’s tenure at Millbrook, he opted to take a gap year and play Junior A hockey in Ontario, Canada, to better his chances of landing a spot on a college roster. The following summer, Noah committed to Chatham University in Pittsburgh to fulfill his dream of playing college hockey and, again, was awarded the privilege of being captain his senior year.
It seemed natural for a college athlete to major in exercise science; however, a research opportunity abroad changed his perspective and inspired him to dive head first into the medical field. To accommodate the change, Noah majored in human biology and completed a minor in exercise science.
Post Chatham, Noah chose to pursue the atypical medical school route by attending AUC, a Caribbean medical school on the island of St. Marteen. Now, more than halfway through his third year, Noah has completed clerkships in pediatrics, family medicine, OBGYN, and psychiatry at Bronxcare Hospital. He is now moving on to complete rotations in surgery & internal medicine at Nassau University Medical Centre in East Hempstead, NY.
