CES - Morgan and Tommi '22

Tommi Nash and Morgan Reed teamed up to create and present their CES: Mental Health in Relation to Millbrook Students. To shed light on mental health challenges among their Millbrook peers, Morgan used her photography expertise to capture thought-provoking images of Tommi. Their CES also included a campus-wide mental health survey designed to assess the overall mental well-being of the community. Tommi and Morgan drew on personal experiences to craft evocative photos intended to destigmatize and encourage mental health discussions at all levels. As Morgan worked through the Holbrook photography curriculum, she built skills that allowed her to communicate complex and personal ideas with a camera. In collaboration, Tommi confronted her feelings about having her picture taken as she and Morgan bravely shared some of their experiences for the betterment of the community.
