Georgetown
I want to pursue politics and journalism, so Georgetown's strong foreign service program and location in our nation's capital was the perfect choice. From the speakers they bring to campus to the events around DC, Georgetown has such an accessible, diverse range of perspectives. Excitingly, DC is also a hub for more than just politics, so I love the idea that these next few years grant me the freedom to explore classes and internships as I find my calling alongside peers who share my interests.

Millbrook taught me the importance of building small communities and connections within your larger bubble. Whether it was friends, classmates, or teammates, I thrived within the familiarity of Millbrook's community. Now, even at a larger school, I know myself better and can create an environment where I will be happiest. I’m entering Georgetown feeling so well prepared. Most of all, I am thankful for my Millbrook teachers who reshaped my worldview, both academically and personally.
EDUCATOR'S INSIGHT
In our classrooms, in the theater, in the dormitory, on the track, in our community service program, and as a friend, Madison was always generous with her time and her spirit. As a peer supporter and Hum Dev facilitator, as a theater director, student tutor, varsity athlete, and political activist, Madison was everywhere and executed everything flawlessly. She lives our school motto, Non Sibi Sed Cunctis, not for oneself but for all, in all that she does.
