My experience at Millbrook proved to my parents and myself that I can handle almost challenge that I take on or that is sent my way. Living away from home was a totally new thing for me that I had to learn to do. Millbrook prepared me for every part of that, so I’m not worried about being away at college. At Colgate, the classes will be bigger, and I will have to work to stand out. Being awarded the Founder’s Prize as a Vth former made me feel acknowledged and recognized at Millbrook. The faculty knew me well enough to know that I could be a leader, and I will never forget my summer experience thanks to winning that honor.
