Tufts University
I was recruited to play basketball at Tufts, and it really is a perfect fit for me both on the court and in the classroom. The balance between athletics and academics is ideal for the kind of student-athlete I have been and hope to be. Tufts, a Division III university, is a big step up in size from Millbrook, but as soon as I set foot on campus and spent some time around the basketball team, I could sense that it was a similarly tight-knit community.

It wasn’t immediate for me at Millbrook, but I got better at introducing myself to new people, trying new things, and connecting with people of all kinds and interests. Millbrook was a great training ground for me to understand how important it is to connect with teachers, to show them that you care and that you’re willing to work hard to learn from them. Thanks to Millbrook, I’ll be doing that at Tufts right from the start.
EDUCATOR'S INSIGHT
Liam embraces routine, consistency, and working his tail off. Liam’s academic talents do not come naturally. He is not a flashy student, nor is he the most naturally gifted student in the classroom. That said, he is likely the hardest working student in the classroom. Liam committed to working every day, holding himself accountable, and outworking everyone else, and it’s safe to say that the results speak for themselves.
