Since he was a IIIrd form student Freddy has been an activist and champion for all things Millbrook, so it was a natural fit for him to lead the Millbrook Kicks Cancer group on campus. For years he has organized events to raise money and awareness for the fight against cancer. The yearly Pink the Rink hockey games for boys and girls has become a beloved tradition and the group’s featured fundraising event. As part of his CES, Freddy made a proposal to transform the group into a
community service moving forward. He feels that the added time and structure would allow for more planning and preparation so MKC can increase its awareness efforts. Freddy’s work with MKC is a lasting legacy that is sure to inspire others to get involved.
