CES - Danielle '22

Millbrook Blues, Danielle Singer’s CES, connected her love of photography to Millbrook’s sense of place through iconic images processed as cyanotypes. Danielle embraced photography as her medium of choice early in her Millbrook career and built her skills by engaging with the photo curriculum every year. She learned about cyanotype in her Alternative Processes class and pursued it further this year in Honors Photo. The cyanotype process renders images in blue hues so that they may appear stark and moody. In her selection of a subject like the Flagler Memorial Chapel, Danielle invites viewers to see the familiar in a new and unfamiliar way.
