I was initially attracted to Vanderbilt because of its emphasis on a liberal arts education and personal development, just like at Millbrook. People here are kind, and the campus, with its traditional style in a small and lively city, is welcoming.
So many of my Millbrook experiences continue to help me succeed. Living away from home strengthened my independence and organizational skills and encouraged me to become fully engaged within the Millbrook community. With every opportunity to jump into leadership roles, I've not been afraid to interact with older students, create relationships with adults and professionals on campus, or ask for help if needed. I'm grateful for Millbrook for helping me to become a better person and better student and for providing a lifetime community of friends and family.

Evelynn is an academic powerhouse and has been prepared and at the top of her class in every class. Her achievement is rooted in her curiosity, work ethic, and intellectual firepower. She also seizes every opportunity to show her mastery by helping her peers in the classroom, always raising the level. While Evelynn has repeatedly achieved the highest marks in academics, she also shows her unrelenting desire to leave our community better than she found it.
