Millbrook girls split their races with Berkshire and Frederick Gunn

Coach Havard
Mud and rain were significant factors in the race at Berkshire School Saturday, Oct. 30th, making for slower times overall and requiring smart, tactical racing.  Millbrook girls beat Frederick Gunn but lost to a deep Berkshire squad.
This was a race not about times but tactics, and where runners chose to make their moves.  I'll highlight two runners who ran the strongest races they have all season: Aiden Corbin, who finished just behind Hannah Coon in 12th place overall, and Hailey Mesard, who took 14th and has cemented her spot as the 5th runner for Millbrook. Both these runners were tough and smart on the hills and finished especially strong in the final stretch.  Juliet Drury continued to fly around prep school courses in New England, finishing first in a time almost a minute and a half ahead of the nearest competition.  Congratulations to all!
