The Mustangs manage a tie despite being short on subs.
The girls JV soccer team continues to raise their level of skill. Playing, yet again, with no subs in the first half, the Mustangs managed to keep the score tied at one apiece against a Frederick Gunn team with a much deeper bench. Scoring for the Mustangs on an exciting breakaway was Anabelle Siklos, playing at the striker position against her former school. The Mustangs had several excellent chances at scoring, including a fantastic shot by Merritt Sheffield with just 4 seconds left in the game that came within inches of crossing the goal line. The girls played incredibly well as a team, staying positive, communicating well, stretching out the field on offense, and working the ball to the sidelines on defense.
