Mustangs Make Strides

Joe Raciti
The girls JV soccer team continued to improve their ability to convert practice concepts to live game action.
Playing on the turf for the first time, the girls JV soccer team showed a talented IMS squad how we approach our games: with a focus on applying practice concepts to live game situations. The Mustangs were treated to notable performances from Matilda Blue and Sophia Bortner, who both brought a persistent intensity to their play, and Analiah Fernandes, who has rapidly transformed into an efficient and effective defensive player. In the second half, we welcomed Mosie Pennington to the field for her first appearance of the season, which unlocked a valuable substitution player for the Mustangs. We thank IMS for their competitive and fair play, and wish them luck with the rest of their season.
