Millbrook Celebrates Autumn with Fun-Filled Fall Fest Weekend
Millbrook School held its annual Fall Fest Weekend on Oct. 25-27, with the Office of Student life organizing fun events all over campus. From the Flagler Quad to the Trevor Zoo, Millbrook was alive with fall festivities.
The party started after Friday Forum on Oct. 25, when students made their way to the Trevor Zoo for a spooky nighttime walk among the animals. Members of the zoo community service group joined with zoo staff members to create the haunted experience.
On Saturday, students dressed in their Halloween best and headed out for another night of revelry at the Halloween Dance. Held at The Barn, the dance was a scene replete with colorful costumes and smiling faces.
Fall Fest wrapped up on Sunday with a chill day in the cool fall weather. Students gathered on the Flagler Quad to have their faces painted, tie dye shirts, and carve pumpkins. They chowed down on grilled burgers and hot dogs, snacked on popcorn, and burned off the calories they consumed by playing lawn games.
The weekend of fun surely filled students with good vibes heading into a fresh week of classes. Millbrook’s next special weekend—Winter Weekend—will be held at the end of January.
