Girls Varsity Lacrosse vs. Frederick Gunn

After almost two years without representing Millbrook School on the prep school lacrosse field, the Mustangs finally took the field against Frederick Gunn School today.  As the game progressed, Millbrook’s defense began to gel with a strong performance from Lexie Strykowski, Julia Zangre, Caleigh Murphy and Jenna Bressette.  Kaitlin Bressette stopped 10 shots.  Later in the game, the offense began to work well together scoring most of their goals in the second half.  Scoring was spread out throughout the entire offensive squad with Brysha Schmidt, Caroline Frase, Ella Green, Shaye Jasiel, Callie Leary and Abigail Ainley all recording at least one goal.  Jeannie Wallner was relentless in recovering ground balls all over the field and stood fast on the defensive end taking a charge.
