UConn Professor and Artist Douglas Degges Shares His Creative Process

Millbrook visiting artist Douglas Degges is an Assistant Professor of Art in Painting and Drawing at the University of Connecticut in Storrs and his work is featured in Night Vision, currently on exhibit at the Warner Gallery in the Holbrook Arts Center. Mr. Degges engaged with students in Kiernan Pazdar’s honors painting and intro to painting classes, discussing his process and inspiration while fielding questions and offering his insights on student work.

 

As curator of the Warner Gallery, Kiernan Pazdar is committed to bringing working artists to campus to inspire and encourage student artists in their pursuits. The world class gallery space is itself a testament to the importance of creative arts to the community.
