Mustangs Take the Early Lead but Drop a Heartbreaker to GFA in the 7th

The Mustangs jumped out to an early 4-0 lead. An Tran started things off for the Mustangs, followed by a single from Tommi Nash and a double from Natalia Danyluk which scored Nash and Tran. Evelynn Najork then singled and Danielle Singer hit a big double to score Danyluk and Najork. 

The Mustangs had solid defense in the first and second inning. The Dragons were then able to string together some runs in the third. Millbrook had solid defense again in the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings, shutting down the Dragons. 

The Mustangs offense strung together three more runs in the bottom of the 5th with hits from Aaliyah Almeida, Danielle Singer, Maya Miller, Morgan Reed, and An Tran.

Millbrook entered the 7th inning with a 3-7 lead but spotted GFA 5 runs in the top of the 7th. Unfortunately the Millbrook offense was not able to rally for a run in the bottom of the 7th. 

Shout outs to Reed and Tran for 3 hits apiece, and Nash, Almeida, and Singer for 2 hits apiece. Shout out also to Danyluk in the circle for her 10 strikeouts.
