Facing a Berkshire team that is one level higher than the team we faced last year, and down to just 10 healthy players, the Mustangs battled on, playing hard until the last minute of the game. Leah Frost, playing in an unfamiliar offensive position in the second half, managed to engineer a long run toward the opponent's end of the field before passing to Liv Dillard for a good chance at a goal. Emily Goico made several exciting saves in front of the net and showed an improved understanding of when to leave the goal line to get after a loose ball.
