Recent Graduate Earns NYS Lottery’s Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship

Amylee Belotti ’04 was one of the 1157 graduating high school seniors statewide to be awarded a $4000 New York Lottery 2004 Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship.
”The Lottery is proud to recognize students from across the state whose contributions to the community are combined with their excellence in the classroom,” said New York Lottery Director Nancy A. Palumbo. “Our hope is that these recipients will continue to serve the community not only while pursuing their higher education but long after they graduate. We want to foster that spirit of community involvement and help inspire New York’s students of today to become our Leaders of Tomorrow.”
New York State remains one of the national leaders in providing student financial aid. The New York Lottery Leaders of Tomorrow scholarships represent an additional investment of more than $23 million above and beyond the state’s traditional educational financial aid resources.
Since its inception in 1967, the Lottery has generated more than $25 billion to support education in New York State, including $1.9 billion during the past year.
At Millbrook School’s 73rd commencement ceremonies on May 25, Amylee was the recipient of the Arts Department Award in Visual Arts. She is the daughter of Mr. Drew Belotti of Millbrook and of Mrs. Laurie Ashworth of Hyde Park. Amylee will attend Pratt Institute in the fall.
