Mustangs Down Gunnery, 21-10

The Millbrook Varsity Softball Team came out firing offensively and topped Gunnery, 21-10, at home on Saturday. Every Millbrook starter scored at least once. Tommi Nash '22 had a single, a triple, three RBI, and three runs. Evelynn Najork '22 had two singles, a double, three RBI, and two runs scored. Jackie Crowley '20 had three hits, an RBI, and four runs scored. Morgan Reed '22 had two singles, an RBI, and scored three. Helene Apollon '19 had a double, an RBI, and two runs scored. Madison Connelly '19, Alyssa McLeod '19, and Helen Boone '19 each had a single and scored, while Piper Strautman '21 and Ripley Sobo '22 each walked and scored. Strautman earned the win, hurling five innings and striking out six.
