Lady Mustangs Play to Draw Against KO

The Lady Mustangs hit the road to take on the Wyverns of KIngswood Oxford. This game was back and forth as both teams worked to establish their possession game and try to exploit each other's backline. The first half ended in a stalemate. KO would get on the scoreboard first 7 minutes in from a long shot 25 yards out. Millbrook would answer back 3 minutes later with a beautiful through ball from Jaz Mejia to Estee O'Brien; Estee found herself all alone with KO's keeper and slid her shot under the diving keeper. With just under 12 minutes remaining in the game, O'Brien would net her 2nd goal of the game sending a low shot just outside the 18. Millbrook tried to hold on but with 7 minutes on the clock, KO would tie up the game off of a rebound. While the game ended in a tie, the coaches were pleased with the overall play and improvement the team has shown in the last couple of weeks. Millbrook's keeper, Kat LaFond recorded 10 saves on 12 shots. Next up, Holy Child.
