Another Win at Home
A rather cold and blustery day greeted a game Harvey squad that traveled to Millbrook. We won all the matches today. One highlight was Ella and Vivian, playing exhibition, who found themselves down 2-3 before righting the ship and playing some solid tennis to win the next six games.
The match of the day was at #1 doubles, where a back-and-forth affair found Lily and Bea down 5–6. They found their aggressive net play to rip off the next three games and secure the shutout win.
Catherine and Ireland notched their first victories of the young season, 8–2 and 8–0 respectively. Maggie and Lucy climbed to 2–0 with 8–0 and 8–2 scores, respectively. The Banta sisters teamed up to roll, and Finley and Estee also played well en route to a win. We have our first Class C match on Friday, home against Westover.
