Short-Handed Win at Home

On a (snowy?!) Saturday, we played a rebuilding Miss Hall's squad indoors. We were short four players, so first, a huge shoutout to Eleanor Chamberlin and Olivia Biller for playing today, and playing exceptionally well. We have a lot of quality players on varsity and JV, and that was on display as Eleanor and Olivia won 8–0! Estee and Vivian teamed up again and also won 8–0, showing the creativity and aggressiveness that we have been working on so hard in practice. Lily's great lobs set up Bea for winner after winner at No. 1 dubs. Sophie served well and got around the ball to hit big shot after big shot in her win. Emelia and Lucy also used solid defense and aggressive offensive shots to claim their victories. Playing No. 1 today was Ireland, who responded with a fine effort, turning good shots around and then gaining the advantage in point after point. A good showing from the whole team today!
