Not a Tennis day: Slate skies, windy, and cold. But we persevered through these conditions as the team battled the weather and a game Canterbury squad looking for revenge from their loss to us last week. Catherine, Maggie, and Lucy played smart Tennis to secure wins in singles. Lily and Bea found themselves down but rebounded with some classic "Millbrook Doubles" to pull away at the end and win 8–5. Sisters Sophie and Emelia got their revenge from a loss last week in a big way, winning 8–3. After last week's marathon match, Ireland fell to her able opponent in singles. The match of the day was at No. 3 doubles. Estee and Vivian did everything right but just missed the put-away shot. I'm so proud that they kept being aggressive even down 4–7. They battled back and forced a deciding tiebreaker, which they controlled from the beginning, jumping to a 7–3 lead and finally finishing it off 10–5.
