Boys Cross-Country Meet at Chesire
The boys cross country team traveled to the Chesire Academy Invitational on Saturday, September 27, 2008. Led by Ben Cart’s race-winning time of 17:51, the Millbrook Varsity Mustangs finished in 5th place out of 12 teams despite some very difficult race conditions. Everyone on the team ran very well including two gutsy performances by Will Lee and Lance Legister who had challenging cases of back spasms and shin splints during the race respectively. Both finished the race with strong efforts.
The Junior Varsity team was led by a season best performance from Micky Mittermeier, followed closely by Walter Ross. Although all members recorded very good times, the competition was quite good and the team finished in 6th place out of 7 teams.
