In front of a hostile Hotchkiss crowd, Millbrook lost a hard-fought game to an athletic and great-shooting Bearcat team. Tied at 29 coming out of the intermission, the Mustangs were on the wrong end of a 21-5 run. This, however, did not deter the resilient Millbrook squad, as they used a swarming defense to chip away at the Hotchkiss lead. Unfortunately, the Mustangs ran out of time at the end, having to force up a contested 3 that would have tied the game at the buzzer.
Chris Williams led the Mustangs with a team-high 20 points. Sheldon Freeman and Will Rayman each chipped in 10 points as well. Josh Clarke added 6 points and 8 rebounds as well as 2 blocks.
The Mustangs will next travel to Cheshire Academy on Monday, December 9th at 5:15 p.m.
