Late Turnovers Cost Mustangs
In the third place game of the 2013 Rivers Holiday Tournament the Mustangs fell apart late, dropping a 46-45 decision to a good Buckingham, Browne and Nichols team. Up 10 with 6 minutes to go, the Mustangs committed some bad turnovers and missed free throws that proved costly by the final buzzer.
Will Rayman led the Mustangs with 17 points and 4 steals. Sheldon Freeman added 12 points and 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the tournament. Josh Clarke once again anchored the efforts on the boards and the defensive end of the floor, tallying 3 points, 12 rebounds and 6 blocks.
The Mustangs go on hiatus until January 8th, when they host Master's (CT) on January 8th at 4:30 p.m.
