Team Traditions and Rituals
- Every year, the team has a bet with Coach Mr. Whiting: if they achieve a collective score of less than 200 strokes (combining 5 individual scores), he will treat them to a steak dinner. This challenge adds excitement and a competitive edge to each season, as breaking 200 is a tough feat.
- When traveling to matches in an SUV, the team captain sits in the front seat (shotgun) on the way to the match, while the player with the lowest score earns the front seat for the ride home.
