Jon Lopez ’02 is an award-winning communications professional, commercial and editorial photographer, and filmmaker.
He’s helped some of the world’s most recognizable brands shape and craft their stories, and his images have yielded millions of engagements and impressions across social media. He’s photographed multiple Slam Magazine covers and is the only photographer to go from the playgrounds of NYC to the Olympics.
After a childhood spent dreaming of joining the New York Knicks, he finally made the team as their documentarian in 2018 when he became their senior producer/editor.
A standout basketball player for the Mustangs during his time at Millbrook, his mantra is “Respect the shooter!”—an ode to his passion for basketball and his expertise behind the lens.
