Peter Smith '06
Chief of Staff to the Head of Global Talent, Boeing
Peter Smith ’06 works closely with the head of global talent at the Boeing Company. The organization is responsible for recruiting, developing, and engaging Boeing’s 160,000 global employees and leading the corporation’s current culture transformation.
After Millbrook, Peter graduated from The George Washington University with a degree in International Affairs. Peter began his career as a Black Hawk Helicopter pilot in the US Army, elevating to company command, where he was directly responsible for the operational readiness of over 40 aircraft and 150 troops while deployed to Iraq and Syria. As a member of the National Guard, Peter maintained two parallel careers, one flying for the Army and the other as a strategy consultant at Deloitte and then Slalom.
He lives with his wife and two children in Charleston, South Carolina.
