BV Basketball Rakes in 7 Western New England Prep Honors
The 2024–2025 Western New England Prep Honors are in, and Millbrook's boys varsity basketball team cleaned up. Mustang coaches and players pulled in seven awards:
- Co-Defensive Player of the Year – Zoumana Traore ‘25
- First Team All Western New England – Zoumana Traore & Amadou Fall ‘25
- All Defensive Team Western New England – Amadou Fall
- Second Team All Western New England – Chase Garcia ‘25
- Honorable Mention All Western New England – Joe Evangelista ‘25
- Co-Coach of the Year – Billy Thom
With so many awards, it’s no surprise that the Mustangs are favored to win a New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) championship this year. The boys enter the playoffs as the Class B No. 1 seed.
First up, they’ll face King School, tonight at 5:15 p.m. at home in the Wray Gymnasium (stream the game).
If the Mustangs can gallop through the Vikings, they’ll host their semifinal matchup on Saturday, March 8. Roll Stangs!
